10 Tips to lose the January Bulge

If you are feeling a little rotund since christmas you can start chipping away at removing your spare tyre by following the advice below. Avoiding crash diets and extreme calorie cutting ensures you will not rebound in size when you stop dieting. 

  • Add 20-30 minute of extra cardio 6 days a week be it a 20 minute walk when I wake up, a 30 min swim or jog or an extra circuit session
  • EAT, 3-5 small meals daily of healthy non-processed foods and never drastically cut calories, simply maintain a sensible portion.
  • Tighten up on clean eating. Remove and bin any treats, excess starchy or sweet foods that snuck in over Christmas.
  • Try new recipes, the zingy ones in this email will get you started.
  • Donate leftover chocolates to someone else to get fat on!!
  • Try our January workout below also good to strengthen legs if you are going skiing too.
